Carbon Cycle and Ecosystems Office

NASA has established an ABoVE implementation and management group within the Carbon Cycle and Ecosystems (CCE) Office at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). Investigators should plan to work closely with the CCE Office and rely upon guidance from its staff for field activities, communications with local and regional stakeholders and authorities, and utilization of ABoVE cyberinfrastructure.

NASA point of contact for ABoVE:

As of 16 June, there will be a temporary change in POC on this program element from Eric Kasischke to Paula Bontempi (Carbon Cycle and Ecosystem Focus Area Lead), with a back up POC of Ken Jucks (Upper Atmosphere Program). This is being done only through the full program element selection to ensure the integrity of the NASA peer review process. Upon announcement of the selection of the full program element, management of the ABoVE program will return to the Terrestrial Ecology program managers at NASA.

A selection of a Science Team Leader is likely to occur in the next few weeks, with the balance of the selection for the program to follow later this summer.

Please address any questions to the new POC, Paula Bontempi or Ken Jucks.
