Toolik Lake, Alaska

Arriving in Toolik Field Station the evening of July 12th, we had enough time for dinner and orientation. July 13th we started early with meetings with the GIS technicians and the camp manager for logistical information of the site. Natalie Boelman was our tour guide for the various research sites based out of the Toolik Field Station. Lee Vierling and Kevin Griffin were two of the researchers who were kind enough to show us their sites and talk about the ongoing research.
