July 8th we met with the Bonanza Creek LTER team. They gave us an insightful overview of the organization and ongoing research at the Bonanza Creek LTER sites. July 11th we visited the Poker Flat Research Range with Eric Kasischke as our guide. After the PFRR tour we met with Guide Grosse and Matthew Sturm at the Permafrost Tunnel. We toured the original permafrost tunnel and their newly excavated one as well. July 12th we started our drive to Toolik Research Station on the Dalton Hwy.
